Apple TV+ is gearing up for the global release of its latest series, "Constellation," an action-packed psychological thriller, starring the formidable Noomi Rapace and Jonathan Banks. Scheduled to debut on February 21, 2024, this eight-part drama promises to be a riveting addition to Apple TV+'s roster of high-quality original content.
The newly released trailer offers a tantalizing glimpse into the conspiracy-laden narrative of "Constellation." The series, created and written by the acclaimed Peter Harness, known for his work on "Wallander" and "The War of the Worlds," stars Rapace as Jo, an astronaut grappling with a crisis both in space and in her personal life. After a harrowing space disaster, Jo returns to Earth, only to find critical aspects of her life mysteriously missing.
Emmy Award nominee Jonathan Banks, celebrated for his roles in "Breaking Bad" and "Better Call Saul," joins Rapace in this thrilling journey. The series explores the darker realms of human psychology, following Jo’s desperate pursuit to uncover the truth behind the concealed history of space travel and reclaim her lost memories.
"Constellation" boasts a star-studded ensemble, including James D'Arcy, Julian Looman, William Catlett, Barbara Sukowa, and newcomers Rosie and Davina Coleman. The direction is led by Emmy Award winner Michelle MacLaren, known for "Shining Girls" and "The Morning Show," alongside Oscar nominees Oliver Hirschbiegel and Joseph Cedar.
This highly anticipated series is a production of Turbine Studios and Haut et Court TV, with executive producers like David Tanner, Tracey Scoffield, and Caroline Benjo at the helm. MacLaren directs the first two episodes and serves as an executive producer alongside Rebecca Hobbs.
